- Participants in the action on January 23 in Yekaterinburg, Kirill Kudrin and Alexey Konkov, were sentenced to eight and ten months in a penal settlement, respectively. According to investigators, the protesters threw a smoke bomb and a training grenade towards the riot police.
- The prosecutor demanded that Dmitry Baranovsky, the defendant in the “sanitary case,” be sentenced to one year and ten months of restriction of freedom. His interests are protected by lawyer from OVD-Info Alexey Vasiliev.
- In Moscow, the court sent local Jehovah's Witnesses Alexander Rumyantsev and Eduard Sviridov to a pre-trial detention center. The preventive measure was chosen in the wake of mass searches of Moscow believers.
- Participants of the “Legal Siberia” project, Dmitry Kamynin and Vladimir Taranenko, who are in the pre-trial detention center, reported torture and bullying by FSIN officers. Kamynin is being held in a cell with unsanitary conditions, and Taranenko’s relatives talk about his beating.
- Tambov civil activist Andrei Polyakov was searched in connection with the case of the rehabilitation of Nazism. The case was opened after a local neo-Stalinist appealed to the Investigative Committee.
- In Izhevsk, investigators sent the case of Anastasia Ponkina, a defendant in the “palace case,” to court. She is accused of “organizing the exit” of “more than 2,000 citizens” onto the roadway during a rally on January 23.
- A court in Makhachkala brought police officers as co-defendants in the case of disrupting the “Look at the Caucasus” discussion dedicated to journalism in the region. Participants in the event were detained after unknown persons burst into the hotel where the discussion was planned and started a fight.
- A report was drawn up against Moscow MP Sergei Vlasov under an article about “fake news”. An administrative case was opened because of a video about the construction of sewage sludge processing plants.
