A court in Tula arrested a local resident Sergei Sosov for 15 days - he was found guilty under the article on the public display of Nazi symbols (part 1 of article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). This was reported by the Information and Analytical Center "Sova".
The case against Sosov was brought because of the publication in Instagram. At trial, the defendant claimed that he did not publish the Nazi symbol, but the Buddhist swastika.
Earlier, a resident of Tula had already been prosecuted under this article - on March 23, the court appointed him 10 days of arrest. The protocol was drawn up because of a post on social networks.
At the beginning of the year 2021, Sosov was also prosecuted under the article on deliberate public desecration of objects of religious veneration (part 2 of article 5.26 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) due to the publication of collages with icons.
