The pioneer of the reggae and producer Bob Marley Lee “Scratch” Parry died

The Yamaisky musician, producer and one of the ancestors of Daba Lee Skretch Parry died at 86 years of life, reports Rolling Stone.

Parry died in a hospital in the north of Yamaiki. The cause of death is not called.

Lee Parry was born in 1936 in Yamaik in rural areas, in the 60s he moved to the capital. At the beginning of his career, Parry worked in a recording studio, and then began to record his own songs. His Pershey hit was the song “Chicken Scratch” (1965), thanks to which he received his pseudonym.

Soon, Parry opened a self -recording studio, where he began to “mix” sounds, rhythms and genres, notes Rolling Stone. So he managed to “expand the boundaries of the Jamaica music” and create a new genre - Dub - reggae with remote vocal.

Parry worked and produced various artists, including Bob Marley and Beastie Boys. Rolling Stone calls him “one of the most prolific musicians”: the list of all the notes of Perry listed in the early 2000s took more than 300 pages.
