Two Chelyabinsk anarchists were sentenced to six years in prison in the case of the banner “FSB is the main terrorist” on the fence of the special service

The prosecutor's office asked to sentence anarchists from Chelyabinsk Dmitry Tsibukovsky and his wife Anastasia Safonova to six years in a general regime colony in the case of the banner “FSB is the main terrorist.” This was announced by the head of the human rights group "Agora" Pavel Chikov, citing lawyers Andrei and Olga Lepekhin.

According to the police, they “defiantly rude, impudent and cynical” committed hooliganism with the use of a weapon, which they thought was a flare thrown into the snow. They are also involved in a case of vandalism due to drawings against pension reform on a transformer booth and a change house (Part 2 of Article 213, Part 2 of Article 214 of the Criminal Code).

In 2018, Tsibukovsky, Safonova and several other anarchists were already detained because of this action. Tsibukovsky then said that the anarchists were tortured in the FSB headquarters, demanding to admit guilt. At that time, all the detainees were released, and the case of hooliganism was dropped twice .

In April 2020, after the anarchists moved to Tula, they came to their apartment with a search, transported them back to Chelyabinsk and sent them to a pre-trial detention center. After four months, they were placed under house arrest, which was replaced in the fall with a ban on leaving the house at night and using communications.
