Bailiffs from the Moscow Region have added the website of the publication Readovka to the register of banned publications, reports . Roskomsvoboda
The decision to enter the site readovka.ru into the register was made by the interdistrict department for the execution of special enforcement proceedings No. 1 of the UFSSP in the Moscow Region. Now the publication's website can be accessed at readovka.news.
Access was restricted due to a lawsuit filed by United Russia deputy Dmitry Sablin. He demanded to remove the publication of the publication about his yacht Bacchus Alla, which was not included in his income tax return. The yacht was later renamed Verniy, says Readovka.
In July, the bailiffs handed over to the editors of the publication a decision to block the entire site. The decision on this was made by the Vidnovsky City Court on March 17, 2020: then, as a measure to secure the claim, a decision was made to block, but a notice of this was sent a year and a half later.
As a result, Redovka was forced to block the site readovka.ru, making a redirect to a new site . “Otherwise, we face criminal liability,” said publisher Alexei Kostylev.
“This is not the first time MP Sablin has tried to block our website,” Readovka journalists emphasize. The official demanded to remove the note , which said that almost half of the shares of the State Farm named after Lenin were transferred to him through the wife of the politician Pavel Grudinin.
According to the publication, the parties made a "hidden sale and purchase transaction" and "complicated the process of returning assets." “After a series of lawsuits and public outcry, Readovka managed to defend its right to convey to readers the truth about corruption and the arbitrariness of officials,” the journalists say.
