The teacher of additional education of the Khabarovsk school No. 76, Yulia Marchenko, apologized for her performance with the eastern dance "Bird of Happiness" on the school line on September 1. The video was published by the administration of Khabarovsk.

“I want to sincerely apologize to all children, parents, grandparents and all those who have caused my speech some negative emotions, misunderstanding, perplexity <...>. With my creative number, portraying the bird of happiness, I did not want to offend and offend your feelings, I wanted to bring you joy. Now I understand that my image was too stage and did not fit into the format of the event dedicated to the holiday on September 1, ”says Marchenko on the video.

She noted that her suit was bodily color and completely closed, and the “impression of a naked body” was created due to sunlight. Marchenko added that she made a number on various city holidays, but promised in the future “to take into account the format of school events in the preparation of stage numbers”.

The video of Marchenko’s speech on the school line was published on social networks. The head of the regional education department, Tatyana Matveenkova, said that such a speech "is unacceptable and inappropriate at the festival dedicated to the Knowledge Day." In relation to the director of the school and the administrative personnel responsible for the behavior of the event, they began an official audit.
