The winners became the opposition

How it turned out that the party winning the parliamentary elections in Bulgaria contrasted itself with the rest of the political forces

We go to the constructive opposition until it makes another decision - such a replica of Slavy Trifonov, the leader of the party who won the July parliamentary elections in Bulgaria, “there is such a people” (ETN), and leads to zero hope for the formation of a regular government in the country. Now there is a technical technical, appointed by President Rumen Radev in May.

Meanwhile, the sovereign, that is, the Bulgarian people, twice tried to attract the party, and it is more correct to say-the formation, led by the owner of the 7/8 TV channel, the frontman of the musical group “Ku-Ku Bend”, to manage their destinies. In the April parliamentary elections, she was given almost 18% of the vote and the second place in parliament after the pro -Atlantic party of the coat of arms (“Citizens for the European development of Bulgaria”). Having the keys to the creation of the coalition government of Trifona then failed this mission - later the impression arose that not without calculation. This was justified: in the forced early July elections, ETT received 24% of the vote and first place, and the Teflon, which seemed indispensable, Prime Minister Gerbabhako Borisov went to smoke to the side.

However, the 55-year-old TV presenter and performer of folk and political songs, known to each Bulgarian, who seemed to defeat the dragon of corruption and fusion of power with oligarchic capital, which he spoke about the last years, turned out to be a captain without a team. In addition, organically not ready for any political unions-and with the 65th seats of the ETT in the 240-seater parliament of the government, this is almost half the necessary. In words, calling for the creation of the coalition, the maestro Trifonov, who did not spend in politics and day, began to stubbornly defend the right of “first political force” to unconditional support of the rest of the parliamentary parties. Having put forward a short and too general program, he warned from the threshold: not agreeing with it - traitors. Finally, he proposed such a cabinet, headed by a 44-year-old businessman Flame Nikolov, a graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy of Sofia University, which was extremely difficult to take potential partners in coalition.

The first -nominally first, the country's policy is reproached with the fact that he imagined himself the father of the nation and froze in this position. The Party of ETT itself, as political scientist Evgeny Dainov put it , looks like evil children from Stephen King’s novel who fled from the kindergarten - they hate the world of adults and want to destroy it.

Extreme inexperience combined with self -confidence and this hatred of “adults” make the Trifonov party with a light target of other players who have been in politics.

As often happened in history, a professor of cultural anthropology echoes him at Sofia University Ivyl Dichev, a folk riot against the totalitarian power of the coat of arms gave rise to the monster: the anti -system of the ETT, which simply wants to eliminate the political system as such. On the agenda there is a painful question about what is about the lumpy evil. Both leaders despise parliament and state institutions. Mr. Borisov, perhaps, crushed and bribed, but he nevertheless talked with us, his fellow citizens, and therefore he managed to rule for more than ten years. Mr. Trifonov even refuses this: he gives orders through Facebook, sitting at his home on the couch, and does not believe that we are all part of one nation, which, apparently, is disgusting to manage.

The relations of all six parties that went into parliament are penetrated with complete mutual rejection. The political system of Bulgaria was in a path situation, the former prime minister Ivan Kostov warned . The oligarchy and the mafia have a strong influence on the leadership of at least half of the parliamentary formations, and therefore the parliamentary crisis deepens, and the impending constitutional will destroy the country's institutions, they already lose power and handling.

President Rumen Radev urged the political forces not to feel the patience of the people, but this is forced rhetoric: a mandate for the formation of the cabinet is not able to implement. As the authority of impotent politicians decreases, his own is gradually growing, and this is very handy: in the fall, Radev’s re -elect. On this occasion, he is not allowed to forget who he, a former military pilot, owes his elevation (everyone knows that the heirs of the Communists - the Bulgarian Socialist Party, who nominated his candidacy in the 2016 elections). This one, as he says about himself, “NATO General and the First Bulgarian, who graduated from the Air Force Academy in the United States”, is not averse to hearing from the Russian ambassador to Sofia Eleanor Mitrofanova that he is “smart and beautiful”, and then defiantly take a picture with her on the spike during the next anniversary of commemorative events.

However, these passes do not add visible bonuses with the left: under the leadership of the current leader of the BSP, Ninova’s BSP, the party went to the third roles.

So Slavi Trifonov will probably wait for another will of the “sovereign” in the third parliamentary elections this year, which will most likely be combined with the presidential. They may take place, report from parliament, in two rounds on November 7 and 14. It is possible that the “sovereign” will then say its new word: the Market Links agency held in the second half of August shows the survey shows that this is sliding to the third (!) Population place among parliamentary parties, and the coat of arms returns the first. The second, although not too confidently, was occupied by the party of the city intelligentsia “Democratic Bulgaria”, whose co -chair, former Minister of Justice of Christ Ivanov, is, according to polls of the same agency, the second most popular politician after Slava Trifonov. This is perhaps the most balanced and not causing a figure of explicit rejection.
