Moscow will host the Russian Russian Woodstock International Rock Festival
The festival takes place for the third time. This time at VDNH. It is organized by Igor Sandler and his production center. Like last year, it will last two days, September 4 and 5. The program is dominated by hard-rock teams: “Ravens attraction”, Beatlove, “Fathers”, Two Siberians, “Roxing Brothers”, and the classics of Russian blues: The Crossoadz, as well as Larisa Valina and Olga Kormukhina with Alexei Belov, leader of the Gorky Park group. Plus guests from the USA, Cuba, Spain, Cameroon, Nigeria, Israel and Bulgaria.
“The festival,” says Igor Sandler, “is a connecting bridge from our day in 1969. I was blessed by Arts Cornfeld, an American musician and producer who participated in the conduct of the very great Woodstock. On the logo of our festival, the same words that were 1969: peace, love, music. My task is to give the opportunity to perform young musicians on the big stage. In 1969, there were a lot of groups that no one knew, and not all of them later became stars. But this is not important, the spirit is important, the energy of rock and roll. ”
