The opposition mainstream today is obvious - in the upcoming September elections, most of those who, as they say, do not support and do not approve of the party’s policy. The anti-Putin coalition of representatives of different movements, parties, social groups and even professional communities in the allotted period will vote in some way. The refuseniks advocated for the boycott of the entire event look marginal. There are few of them. An open letter in support of the “Strategy of Uncertility” was signed by political scientist Vladislav Inozemtsev, publicist and human rights activist Alexander Podrabinek, several more people. Their arguments are far from new, but this does not look less convincing. Moreover, in recent years, the situation with the elections in Russia has only worsened. Already at the legislative level, absolutely absurd non -promotional decisions have been made that cut off entire categories of citizens from the electoral process. Here is an excerpt from the statement of the “Inozemtsev Group” - “We perfectly understand our comrades and colleagues, who were actively included in the political struggle today. For many of them, the deputy is a genuine calling, and the election campaign is the quintessence of politics, the affairs of their lives. However, despite the deep respect for all non -systemic politicians who seek to wake the Russian “sleepy kingdom”, we want to stingfully declare: the only true decision in the current conditions is the refusal to participate in elections, which lead only to further legitimation of the Putin system. It is likely that some activists who are not sympathetic to the authorities will be admitted to the election, and perhaps one of them will even win-but the appearance in the building on the Okhotny series of several intelligent voices will make our legislative farce only more sophisticated, and will not stop its existence at all. ” They are objected to a close -knit and very representative corps of experts, politicians and civilian activists.
It is curious that the very respected political scientist Kirill Rogov, who calls for citizens to take part in the event under discussion, is actually solidarized with their opponents (foreigners and Co.) regarding the description of the current situation.
