New payments

In St. Petersburg, they plan to establish social payments 90-, 95- and 100-year-old residents of the city. Corresponding amendments to the Social Code of St. Petersburg will have to be considered by the deputies of ZakS.

Payments in the amount of 15 thousand rubles will be received by 90-year-old Petersburgers, 95-year-olds rely 20 thousand rubles, and 100 years-25 thousand rubles. Payments will be one -time.

In the social policy of St. Petersburg there is a practice of paying to various categories of citizens, and, as the speaker of ZakSA Vyacheslav Makarov explained, it showed its effectiveness.

How many people of this age in St. Petersburg live and how much budget money will have to be spent on these payments, Makarov did not specify.

The order to develop such payments was given by the governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov at a meeting with members of the city government in March 2021.

Earlier, the St. Petersburg authorities promised to pay 10,000 rubles to teachers, to make public toilets round -the -clock and accelerate the construction of the metro - and all on the eve of the elections. Read more about all the promises.

Smolny also reported that the city will allocate 1.2 billion rubles for teachers. More than 120 thousand people will receive 10,000 rubles each.
