A pre -election hundred call called me. Do you know that the elections will be held in September? I know. Are you going to take part? Going to. For which batch of the above do you most likely vote?

And the interviewer's girl lists the party. Four. The entire parliamentary pool - all four faces of the Party of power, now present in the State Duma.

“You have not listed all parties,” I say. In response, silence. - "Of those that you called, I will not vote for any."

A polite detached voice from the phone asks the following question: "Are you allowing to vote for the" United Russia "party?" “No. Never, under no circumstances,” I say as clearly as possible, but three -class denial does not cancel this newly conscious fact: I have no representation in these elections.

Even the unfortunate “apple”, a scolded-redrawn, the last refuge of the protest intelligentsia-there is no it, deleted from the hundred-polls ordered at the budget account, and this, as it were, hints at the electoral prospects of the list. “Apple”, with all issues and claims, remains a completely acceptable party for “moral choice”, for those who are not ready for “smart voting” with its sober and places cynical calculation. The argument for the "apple" is at least the fact that it is not present in the State Duma already how many convocations and is not responsible for all this frantic printer. Here is not this party among these options.

And God with him, forming a survey before the election - an old trick, cheap. It is much worse that these people decide for me, for whom definitely I will not vote - deleting from the lists of my candidates. So, the apple has lost Lev Markovich Schlosberg, and in a single -mandate district, and in the regional group. According to the renunciation of the opponent, the court established his "involvement in the extremist organization" on the basis of a fine issued by Schlosberg in winter after an unauthorized procession in support of Alexei Navalny. The CEC, without thinking twice, annulled the nomination.

That is, a candidate with great political experience, with experience in the regional parliament, with decent recognition at the country's level - suddenly once and is removed from participation in the elections! Schlosberg definitely has voters (voted for him, and more than once), there are a lot of them and all of them are now put on a bold cake under his nose.

And in the same way, dozens of people with a reputation, principles, and beliefs were removed from the elections in the regions-all because of the same "involvement".

It is important to emphasize that the final decision on the prevention of candidates is made by people whose work is to ensure the implementation of electoral rights of citizens. CEC is an independent state body, the only meaning of the existence of which is to create conditions so that the voter can express his will. So that every citizen of the country has the opportunity to participate in the administration of the country, choosing his representative to the parliament. It will pass, it will not pass - the tenth business, the main thing is the offer: let's count, to whom this topic is close.

It is clear that if you cannot even nominate your candidate, you have no chance of participating in the management of the country. You are nobody in this country - the central election commission said to me personally and millions of Russians. We are not presented in these elections - even compromise figures, we do not have our own party, we do not have our own voice in the State Duma, and there is no way to influence state policy.

Time passes, and in the State Duma the third ten years remain the same physiognomy. With the same mossy, turned into a deep past the agenda of the day.

And here it is not even necessary to remind of the basic, democratic things, pushed deep under the dusty sofa by the current government - well, there, an independent court, honest elections, protection from torture in prison, freedom of speech, this is all about the fact that the world has long lives in a completely different reality, which in Russia is nobody to at least designate. There is no one to even speak out loud that the rest of humanity beats - the unconditional basic income, green energy, the protection of animal rights, gender equality in all its diversity, new ethics, genetic engineering, etc., so on. Electric cars will not appear on our roads. Our future is at best, Robot Fedor.

Voting has long become an imitation of elections and turned into a forced ritual for some, for others - into the game “Nap for Incumbent”* (see “Smart Voting”). And all this has nothing to do with the opportunity to determine the future of the country where you were born, has grown, work and intends to live on.

*Incumbent is an active holder of a position or position. The meaning of “smart voting”, as political scientists explain, is not to choose a “good” deputy, but to deprive the victories of those who wrote themselves in the winners in advance.
