In TrV-Nauka No. 335 dated August 10, 2021, we published a story by a famous sociologist, professor, doctor. social Sciences, scientific assistant Theodor Shanin, prof. RUDN University, leading scientific co-workers RANEPA and HSE Irina Trotsuk about how in 2020 she, a citizen of Russia since 1994, received a “letter of happiness” from the Ministry of Internal Affairs. The letter informed her that she was no longer a citizen of the Russian Federation. Irina decided to fight not only for her rights, but also for all “non-citizens” who found themselves in the same situation, and went to court. She wrote an afterword to her article about its results.
