The court recovered $126 million from former minister Mikhail Abyzov and Alfa Bank in accordance with the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office

The Gagarinsky Court of Moscow satisfied the claim of the Prosecutor General's Office, which demanded to recover from the former Minister for Open Government Affairs Mikhail Abyzov and Alfa-Bank $126.5 million in state revenue. This was reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the court.

The court recovered $104.5 million from Alfa-Bank and $22 million from Abyzov.

He invested this money in the TON blockchain platform of the Telegram messenger and transferred it to Alfa-Bank when the project closed .

Part of the money - 104.5 million dollars - the bank turned into its own property. As suggested by Kommersant, this was done on account of the debts of the E4 company owned by Abyzov. Another part - $ 22 million - Abyzov sent to the accounts of persons under his control, the Prosecutor General's Office considered.

In court, Abyzov and his lawyer insisted that these persons had nothing to do with the former minister, writes RBC. Alfa-Bank told the publication that they did not understand "what is the essence of the claims." Both Abyzov and the bank intend to appeal the court decision.
