• In Yekaterinburg, security forces detained National Bolshevik Maxim Kamensky and another person. The day before, Kamensky was sent a summons to Center “E” because of an action in support of Russians in Kazakhstan; the activist’s interests are defended by OVD-Info lawyer Irina Ruchko.
• Blogger Rufat Aleskerov, who talks about corruption in the city of Shakhty, was detained on suspicion of fraud. He considers the criminal case to be revenge on the part of the city administration.
• Sochi civil activist Galina Burova was sent to a pre-trial detention center. She is accused of attacking a bailiff in 2019, who himself used force against her.
• Elderly Jehovah's Witness Yuri Savelyev, sentenced to six years, was transferred from the colony to a medical correctional institution, despite the absence of health complaints. • Former member of the Mejlis of the Crimean Tatar people Eldar Mensitov was detained in connection with sabotage of a gas pipeline in the village of Perevalnoye. Before the arrest, the activist’s house was searched.
• Roskomnadzor blocked the website of the Kazan LGBTQ center “Acceptance”. The prosecutor's office insisted on limiting access.
• In Barnaul, a court fined Nikolai Umerenkov, a supporter of the Other Russia party, 30 thousand rubles. National Bolshevik was charged with organizing a rally for fair elections that took place on July 31.
• Journalists of “Important Stories” Alesya Marokhovskaya, Irina Dolinina and Polina Uzhvak were detained in Moscow at a rally against the law on “foreign agents”. The interests of the detainees are represented by lawyer from OVD-Info Ilya Utkin.
• The court refused to consider the prosecutor's office's claim to remove Kuban oppositionist Alexander Korovainy from the State Duma elections. The department stated that the candidate for deputy is associated with “extremist activities”, as he published a video in support of Alexei Navalny.
• In Bashkortostan, due to the lack of evidence of an offense, the court dismissed two cases against participants in the action on January 31. The interests of the protesters were defended by OVD-Info lawyer Fedor Telin.
