You have not loaded YouTube? What an unpleasant surprise!
The reputation of one of the founders of the journalistic investigative group of Bellingcat Khrista Grozev is such that to his words, without a doubt, it is worth listening, and trusted forecasts. Speaking at the beginning of September at the Lennart Mary conference in Tallinn, he said that the Russian authorities have a technology that could actually cut off Russia from the World Wide Web. “We received information that a specific plan for the disappearance of the Internet in Russia has been prepared by introducing the accreditation system of all hosting providers,” said the Bulgarian journalist. -Those who are accredited will be obliged to provide complete information about their work on the Internet, which, in turn, will exclude any anonymity ... Those who do not receive accreditation, including, for example, such popular resources as YouTube and Twitter, will limit the speed of work on the Internet. Two years later, it can be reduced to 24 kbps per second ... For those who remember the 1990s, this will become a return to the past ... It was at such a speed that then there was a connection to the Internet. Now the transition of Russia to such speed will mean disconnecting from the Internet. ”
There is no doubt that work in this direction is underway in our country. Such a scenario completely fits into the general trend of the final “sovereignty” of native limits, the construction of barriers on the path of penetration into Russia not only of various “undesirable” Russophobes, but also of undesirable thoughts, ideas, sentences. But first of all, of course, there is information that is not subject to lustration. This kind of preparatory work is necessary if the leadership plans are not the democratization of the political space, but the continuation of the course for further tightening the dictatorship. In other words, the forecast of Christ Grozev, based on insider information, clearly indicates what future power prepares us in the very near future.
These plans, as we also know, are quite grandiose, and they are connected, first of all, with the imperial idea of joining Belarus. The stripping of the information space is the most important element of the entire structure, which will allow Vladimir Putin to prolong his power, relying not on fake constitutional reform with its miserable amendments, but by partial recreation of the Soviet empire. But are there any forces capable of destroying Russian authorities to establish total control over all information flows?
About two weeks ago, answering the journalist’s question about the prospects of the second -generation satellite, Ilon Musk said the following: “Our companions, who will be launched in the next few months, already have inter -satellite laser communications, so no descending communication line is required. They will probably be commissioned after 4-6 months. Technically, data packages will not need to be connected to a regular Internet. Data can be directly transmitted from the satellite to the user terminal and vice versa. ” That is, simply put, any user in Russia will be able to do without a provider. "How can regulators react to data transfer without using downward channels?" - asked the interlocutor of the entrepreneur. “Well, for example, to threaten the sky with a fist,” Ilon Musk answered.
