Upon arrival, the owners were informed that their pet was not on board - according to the Domodedovo Airport, the dog opened a carry and ran away during loading. The mistress of the dog does not believe in this explanation and believes that the movers are to blame for the loss. The girl has complaints about the airline and the airport, which, in her opinion, do not do enough to search for dogs and cover their employees.

Eve in the family of Ekaterina Bezruchko appeared in November last year: the girl saw on Instagram that the volunteers found a dog on the street in Sochi, and "just fell in love with her." Bezrukko decided to take the dog to herself, to Moscow the animal was taken by car.

“The dog was originally very shy, she was afraid of everything: sharp movements, sounds, did not accept affection. But then she got used to it, we are used to her, she - to us. Over time, Eve became very affectionate, walked behind my daughter’s tail and was very difficult to worry. Therefore, we decided to take her with us on a three -week vacation, and not leave her relatives so that she would not experience severe separation, ”recalls Catherine.

On a three -week vacation at sea, Catherine went with her husband and little daughter. They planned to take a 10-kilogram Eve with them to the aircraft salon, but there were no free places for the animal, so the dog had to be given to the luggage compartment. Three hours before departure, the Eve was handed over in a special carrying with a castle, the grill of which the airline employees were additionally fixed with clamps. Already in Simferopol, after the hour of waiting for the issuance, the owners of Eve realized that their dog simply did not load on board.

“We called Domodedovo, and only then they told us that the dog escaped, and they were looking for it. In Simferopol, we left an application for the loss that we promised to be transferred to Domodedovo. The next day, I again called Domodedovo and found out that they did not know anything about the fate of the animal, they were not engaged in searching, and the airline was transferred to the application. The airline said that they received nothing and they had no information, ”Catherine is indignant.

Later, the airline informed the girl in a letter that she nevertheless began to look for a dog.

However, according to the owners, no one was looking for Ekaterina’s relatives in Domodedovo Eve: they found out that neither the airport employees nor the police officers were aware that the missing dog was running at the airport for almost a day. Therefore, Catherine decided to betray the history of publicity and wrote a post on Instagram. In the comments, people began to call on to pay attention to the situation of bloggers and zoo defenders. Only after that, Catherine notes, she began to provide at least some information in addition to formal notes that her appeal was accepted and are engaged in the situation.

Now the girl is constantly written by people who are represented by airport staff, and they say that the dog freely runs around the territory of Domodedovo.

Officially, the airport confirmed that they saw the dog several times, but could not catch.

The press service of the airport noted that Eve “around the clock” is looking for an operational group, which also includes dog handlers and volunteers from among the airport employees. The search is complicated due to the large territory of the airfield-1300 hectares.

The main claim of Catherine is that employees of the airline and the airport allegedly invariably informed her of the disappearance of the dog, which was due to which a lot of time was lost. Therefore, Ekaterina mainly learns about the details of the incident from the media: for example, the hosts of the dog saw a photo of Eve’s carrying and videos from video surveillance cameras in the channels.

“On the video from the surveillance cameras, one of the employees looks at a carrier with a dog, and then it leaves and goes after him. Another employee approaches the carrying and probably opens or closes it. It can be seen that no one "had time to catch it", as they write. Everyone saw it, and everyone was not careful, and maybe they themselves released it, since she squeals a lot, ”the girl suggests.

In the photographs of the carrying after the loss of the dog, there is no castle and one metal rod. Based on this, Catherine assumes that allegedly "there was a fact of cruel treatment of animals, negligence and inaction." Relatives of the girl tried to get them to be given a carrier from which Eve ran away. According to Catherine, the airline refuses, motivating this by the fact that the airport, whose employees were engaged in loading, are responsible for carrying. In Domodedovo, at first, they first reported that they simply did not find a carrying in the lost baggage department.

Later, the official account of the airport on Instagram wrote to Catherine ( the screenshots of correspondence are at the disposal of “New” - approx. ) That employees cannot carry out a carrying from the “clean” zone, as they plan to place the dog there if they find it. Instead, representatives of Domodedovo proposed to issue a pass to Catherine or her relatives so that they could look at the carry and take part in the search for the dog.

The girl decided to return to Moscow from Simferopol to take part in search of a pet - representatives of the airport promised to write her a pass for September 15.

“I will need to leave my family now, to fly to Moscow alone to try to go to the airport and look for a dog. I’m not sure that they will let me in, because my parents who tried to go there, the airport employees said that this is basically impossible, because it is illegal. The representatives of the airport promised me that it would be possible to make a pass on me. All expenses, on a plane, spoiled vacation, I will have to pay for myself, no one helps us and does not help us, ”the owner of the missing dog notes.

She has already written a statement to the transport prosecutor’s office and the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and also plans to apply to the court in order to receive compensation for moral damage and expenses associated with the loss of the animal. This is not the first case in Russia, when problems in the luggage department arise during air transportation of pets. So, in the summer of 2020, two dogs flying in the luggage compartment on Aeroflot flights Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky-Moscow and Moscow-Simferopol were injured: one dog was in blood and mud, the other lost their vision. However, the prosecutor's office did not find violations during the transportation. At the same time, not every pet can be taken to the aircraft salon, the rules depend on a particular airline. For example, an animal will not be allowed into the airplane on the Aeroflot flight, whose weight, along with carrying it exceeds 8 kg, and on board S7 it is possible to put a carrier of 23 kg on the adjacent chair with a pet.

The most loud and tragic story occurred in early 2020, when Maxim Chumachenko flew by Aeroflot flight from New York to Sofia with a transplant in Moscow and transported three cats. At the Sheremetyevo Airport, two broken carrying carried, tied with a rope, and cats, which received serious injuries. One of the cats died on board the aircraft, the second - later by the veterinarian, and the third was diagnosed with frostbite.

Eyewitnesses told Chumachenko that the airport employees seemed to “throw” the carrying, unloading them from the aircraft. He demanded that the airline initiate a criminal case of brutal against animals. The airline compensated to Chumachenko three thousand rubles for a broken carrying, and the Ministry of Internal Affairs refused to institute criminal proceedings, saying that boxes with animals had fallen from the luggage tape and were damaged due to the wind.

Aeroflot has liable for Sheremetyevo Handling, which is engaged in baggage processing, and promised to change the rules for transporting animals. Aeroflot promised to act as an initiator to revise baggage processing technology and transportation of carrying with hand -madeings with handling structures at all Russian airports. The company noted that problems often arise, since in the internal documents of handling companies, carrying with animals fall into the general category of baggage, which is why the movers perceive the carrying as a regular suitcase “and work with it accordingly”, for example, throw from a height.
