Russian operators have begun blocking the Google Docs service in Russia, the GlobalCheck project, which monitors the Russian Internet blocking system, reported late in the evening on September 15.
According to him, the site docs.google.com is blocked by operators MTS, Megafon and Rostelecom. The Roskomsvoboda project reports that interruptions are also observed by Tele2 users.
“The blocking is likely related to the publication of Smart Voting lists on the Google Docs resource,” GlobalCheck said in a statement.
