In Irkutsk, the court arrested for 9 days the participants of the picket against United Russia

The Kirovsky District Court of Irkutsk on September 10 ruled on the administrative arrest of Andrey Nefedyev and Alexander Komarov , participants in single-person pickets against United Russia. This is reported by the telegram channel "Irkutsk insider". The information is published on the website of the court.

The protesters held pickets in front of the regional government building. The picketers held posters “Putin and United Russia have been killing our country for 20 years” and “United Russia exists. There are no elections. There are no courts. There is no media. There is no future."

Nefedyev and Komarov were found guilty under the article on organizing an uncoordinated action (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). They were given nine days of administrative arrest.

• The Russian authorities announced the holding of almost nine thousand election campaigns of various levels on a single voting day on September 19, 2021. Elections of State Duma deputies, governors of constituent entities, deputies of legislative assemblies and city parliaments will be held from September 17 to 19.
