• The Investigative Committee opened a case of inciting “mass riots” during the elections. Among the defendants is the founder of the telegram channel “What-to-Delat!” Dmitry Chebanov and ex-employee of the headquarters of State Duma candidate Anastasia Bryukhanova Maria Platonova . According to investigators, Chebanov and Platonova, together with other persons, “made a decision to induce and otherwise involve an unlimited number of people in mass riots in Russian cities” through telegram channels.
• In Sochi, security forces conducted a search at the office of election observation coordinator Natalya Brusova. She is accused of selling fake vaccination certificates.
• GlobalCheck reported blocking the Google Docs service after posting Smart Voting lists there. In addition, Roskomnadzor tried to restrict access to telegra.ph, an anonymous publishing platform developed by Telegram.
• Employees of the energy company TGK-14 in Ulan-Ude, who protested over low wages, were suspended from work and, under the pretext of the threat of coronavirus, were transferred to self-isolation. Workers are demanding an increase in the wage fund and the amount of social guarantees up to the tariff rate.
• The Moscow City Court upheld the house arrest of Olga Kuzmina, who held a protest against renovation in Babushkinsky Park. The activist is accused of hooliganism.
• In the Altai Territory, police used force to detain two activists of the Communist Party of the Russian Federation. One of them, Nadezhda Rudmina, staged a solo picket. The other was distributing propaganda materials. During the arrest, Rudmina was hit with her head on a car door, causing her to lose consciousness.
• In the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Dmitry Lamanov was detained , allegedly because of his subscription to the telegram channel “What-to-Delat!” They are going to take him to Moscow within two days.
• In Moscow, a court sentenced 10 days of arrest each to activists of the “Civil Society of the Kaluga Region” Sergei Rednikov and Ilya Ermakov - the day before they unfurled the banner “Freedom for Navalny!” on the Red Square. They were found guilty of disobeying the police.
• A court in Moscow suspended the order of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, which declared comedian Idrak Mirzalizadeh’s stay in Russia undesirable for life. The ministry made this decision because of the stand-up comedian’s performance, in which he joked about Russians and shit.
