The student who opened fire at Perm University had his leg amputated

Student Timur Bekmansurov, who opened fire at Perm State University, had his left leg amputated up to the knee. This is reported by the telegram channel Shot.

This information was confirmed by the source of the publication 59.ru in medical circles. According to him, Bekmansurov's condition remains extremely serious, he is in intensive care on a ventilator.

Mash clarifies that the leg was amputated, since one of Bekmansurov's wounds was on the thigh. In addition, he received injuries to the lung, liver, intestines and damage to the ureter.

• As a result of Bekmansurov's shooting at Perm State University, six people were killed, 28 more were injured, nine of them seriously. By September 21, seven people remain in serious condition.
• Bekmansurov was injured during the arrest. Traffic police inspector Konstantin Kalinin, who arrived at the scene, ordered him to drop his weapon, but the student fired, after which the officer opened fire. For actions to detain shooter Kalinin will be presented with a state award.
