Relatives of Maxim Ivankin, a person involved in the Network case, who was taken out of the Chuvash colony in an unknown direction in early September, cannot find him either in the colony or in the pre-trial detention center. this on Facebook . announced The convict's wife Anna Shalunkina
She said that since September 5 she could not get any information about her husband's whereabouts. On September 14, the Federal Penitentiary Service informed Shalunkina that her letter had been delivered to Ivankin in the Zelenograd pre-trial detention center. However, there was no response from him, no call. Later, the figurant's wife found out that he would supposedly be in SIZO-10 of Mozhaisk for two months, as he was scheduled for a court hearing in October. Shalunkina noted that there is no information about this on the website of the courts. When sending another letter to the isolation ward, she was informed that such an addressee was not listed there.
“My husband disappeared completely, he is nowhere to be found. I called all the pre-trial detention centers, from where I received answers through the Fsin letter, read out to them the answers of this same Fsin-letter, where they write: the administration of the pre-trial detention center of such and such informs you that your letter has been censored, delivered and handed to the addressee. She said that she received such letters simultaneously from different cities.
To which I received an answer in all institutions that Ivankin was not kept by them and had never been at all, neither in transit, nor one day, in any way, ”
Shalunkina said.
Ivankin's lawyer Konstantin Kartashov also said that he did not know where his client was.
“There are no answers to official requests, since they use this federal law setting that they have the right to respond within 30 days. In the meantime, less than 30 days have passed, so there is no answer. I think that they will pull to the last, ”the lawyer said.
According to him, he was not warned about any investigative actions. What is the reason for Ivankin's departure from the colony is unknown.
In early September, it became known that Ivankin was taken out of correctional colony No. 9 in Chuvashia in an unknown direction. “Presumably the final destination of the stage is FKU T2 Vladimir (central),” Shalunkina said.
In early April, Ivankin's wife also reported that he had disappeared from the colony. Later it turned out that on March 31, he was placed in a punishment cell (SHIZO) for 10 days for “violating” the conditions of a strict regime. Then the lawyer said that the security forces and the administration of the IK were threatening Ivankin for refusing to cooperate in the case of the murder of Ekaterina Levchenko and Artyom Dorofeev. The defendants in the Network case deny any involvement in the murders.
Earlier, Kartashov had already reported on the pressure on Ivankin in the pre-trial detention center. According to him, the security forces force him to confess to complicity in the murder and threaten him with physical violence, which "will look like a suicide."
Ivankin was sentenced in February last year to 13 years in prison in the Network case. FSB officers detained anarchists in Penza in the autumn of 2017, a few months before the presidential elections. Subsequently, several more defendants in the case were detained in St. Petersburg. The youths were accused of trying to set up militant groups across the country to attack military units, police officers and United Russia offices. The defendants in the case repeatedly spoke about pressure from the investigation and torture.
