So far, the attention of the Russian civil society is focused on the monstrous electoral adventure, which is still called the “elections” here, processes were underway at different points in the globe, designed to prove the criminal essence of the regime ruling in Russia. And no domestic propagandists or security forces, no AP or FSB can intervene in them. No "electronic vote" will be used here.
In early September, the process in the Hague resumed in the case of the shot down by the Malaysian Boeing, which made the MH-17 flight. Then, in 2014, 298 people were killed. The world community accuses Russia of a terrible crime. The process after some break was resumed on September 6, and now, for about three weeks, the court will hear the relatives of the dead, the vast majority of whom are citizens of the Netherlands. Many journalists constantly attending meetings note that from an emotional point of view, this is the most difficult part of the whole process.
An elderly couple from the Netherlands lost her daughter April, her husband and two granddaughters in the disaster. There was no special drama in the words of April, she simply shared the memories of how the granddaughter of the world gave her grandmother a bracelet, who made with her hands, about how talented her daughter was.
Three brothers from Australia lost their parents in the sky over Donetsk. In The Hague, using video communication, they talked about what a monstrous shock they experienced then how they could recover a little only when they returned the bodies of their relatives to their homeland and dispelled their ashes over the coast of Queensland. One of the brothers demonstrated engagement rings belonging to parents. The mother’s ring was preserved well, and the father’s ring turned out to be completely flattened.
So far, there are four accused: three Russian citizens and one citizen of Ukraine. Of course, none of them appeared before the court. Apparently, the process will last at least a year, but Russia's political responsibility for a terrible crime is already obvious today for the entire civilized world.
Meanwhile, last Tuesday in London, the third accused in the case of attempting a Skripals family appeared in London. Now the British prosecutor’s office, in addition to Petrov and Boshirov, considers General GRU Denis Sergeyev involved in this crime. According to the investigation, during the attempt, General Sergeyev was in London according to fake documents and coordinated the work of two operatives. However, the evidence of the fault of both characters already represented by the public look so convincing that few doubts have little doubts.
Even this week, the ECHR recognized Russia responsible for the death of the former FSB officer Alexander Litvinenko and awarded it to the widow of 122, 5 thousand euros. The court considered that "Moscow did not bring sufficiently convincing facts in response to the British investigation, did not establish the guilty in the death of a cursory ex-officer of the FSB, and also refused to submit documents contained in the materials of the Russian investigation."
This is how Russia looks in the eyes of the world community today. And, I must say directly that the shameful “elections” that have just taken place in our country can already add little to this completely exhaustive picture. What else can the elections be here? Only such.
