Vita Yershov, editor of the student magazine DOXA, and activists Ekaterina Goncharova and Asya Karpina have been toughened up in a protocol drawn up because of a picket in support of independent media. This was reported on the magazine's website.
The action took place in St. Petersburg on 24 August. against the participants of the event On August 25, protocols were drawn up under the article on non-compliance with “anticoid” restrictions (Article 8.6.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of St. Petersburg), but later the activists were charged with a more difficult article - on organizing an uncoordinated event (Part 2 of Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Under this article, they face up to 10 days of arrest.
They found out information about changes in the protocol on the website of the court, but law enforcement officers did not report this. The court session is scheduled for October 7th.
