Anton Fedotov, the author of the Protestny Novosibirsk telegram channel, was released from the temporary detention facility. He was given a ban on certain activities. This was reported by the telegram channel "Death of the Media Live".

The preventive measure for Fedotova was chosen in the case of incitement to mass riots (part 3 of article 212 of the Criminal Code). The man was one of the subscribers of the Chto-Delat! channel, on which, according to the security forces, the appeals were published. In all likelihood, Fedotov reposted the publications to his channel.

On September 18, the house of a resident of Novosibirsk was searched, employees of the Investigative Committee seized a computer, laptop and other equipment. Now Fedotov is forbidden to use the Internet.
