In St. Petersburg, the mother of Libertarian Party of Russia activist Alexei Barich was searched. He wrote about this on Twitter.
On what grounds the search was carried out, Barich does not know: “Mother, out of fear, did not take a photograph of what kind of paper they showed her. I hope it was just a fake scare. Key words that she remembered: “member of the opposition party”, “extremist”, “Headquarters”. From the retelling it is not clear why the search is even possible. It seems like there was no Criminal Code,” he wrote.
The name of Alexey Barich was mentioned during interrogations in the case of blocking roads (Article 267 of the Criminal Code) at the rally on January 23 in support of Alexei Navalny: the investigation was interested in the acquaintance of those interrogated with him and other activists.
