This mode allows you to seal and emphasize amazing details. Say, I was able to make out in the smallest details how much life patted a yard swan from tires.

Macroxy allows you to photograph even the finest web threads, which is almost impossible to see with the naked look (I myself saw them only through the iphon lens). Keep in mind that the leaves were shaking from the wind.

In general, macro shooting seems to arouse curiosity. I would like to immediately find out that they hide a dog’s nose or cat mustache. Alas, the only cat I met immediately ran away at the sight of a new iPhone (or me).

6. But with night shooting, the difference with the iPhone 12 and even 12 Pro Max is obvious

Thanks to the new matrix, iPhones catch even more light. As a result, devices are less likely to go into the mode of night shooting and think less when trying to photograph something in weak light. And the photos themselves look more natural. Noise also significantly diminished.

The publication about The Verge technologies even calls the iPhone 13 Pro and Pro Max cameras and doubts that the new Google flagship - that is, the Pixel 6 has not yet been released - will be able to surpass this result.

In fact, Apple added settings that allow you to personalize the processing of the pictures at the stage of shooting using computing photography. There are five preinstalled modes: standard (as usual, iPhones are removed), saturated contrast, colorful, warm and cool. Each can configure tone and warmth. The iPhone will remember everything - you do not need to configure styles for each individual picture.

Apple claims that this is not at all the same as the use of filters. Photographic styles analyze the environment and separate people from inanimate objects. Thus, the high contrast of the picture does not affect the tone of the skin (it remains natural), while filters are used immediately for the entire frame.

8. Another novelty and a separate button - the "movie effect" mode

In words and in Apple advertising, this seems some magic: the thirteenth iPhones automatically erode the background, making ordinary videos similar to films. The phones themselves determine the persons in the frame using information from several cameras. And they themselves switch the focus to other people, if one of the video participants, for example, turned away or left the frame. At the same time, the camera holds a focus on a person, even if he moves (along with the camera !!).

“Film effect” really works, but not as good as we would like. Firstly, the shooting in this mode is limited by a resolution of 1080 and 30 frames per second. This is not serious. Secondly, in poor lighting, the “movie effect” may not switch the focus from a person to a person if he turns away. Of course, the focus can be adjusted yourself, but then the magic disappears. Thirdly, the standard camera application in iPhones becomes more and more like Android-now it’s even easier to get confused on the menu.

9. Portrait mode is just 🔥

I know, I know, Medusa every time praises a portrait regime in new iPhones. But what to do, he really becomes better from year to year!

This time we specifically tested him on a stubborn access lion (do not ask, I have a whole altar from deprived of soft toys). Evaluate the soft blurry of the background and how the iPhone in a darkened room neatly separated the wool toys from the encirclement. True, the texture was slightly shut up. But once, the iPhones in portrait mode could not cope with the cat ears even in normal light. For comparison: this is how the same portrait regime works in public during the day.

In general, it was always boring to read (and write) about batteries in iPhones. But this time, Apple increased the size of the battery and received a really noticeable increase in autonomy. Which, of course, affected the weight of the devices, but who will complain!

According to the company, the increase was from one and a half to two and a half hours. And this is with brighter screens and 120 Hz in pro-versions.

Perhaps, the baby 13 mini won the most strongly from increasing energy intensity. Of course, he still does not withstand more than five to six hours of active use. But given its size and (not the best) autonomy of 12 mini - this is a victory!

11. And this is the best moment to admit his love for 13 mini again

Last year, I tested his predecessor, but already forgot how good he is. Mini has the perfect size. He sits perfectly in his hand. It is perfectly nimble. It’s just nice to walk with him-and the cameras of the wow. It got to the ridiculous: I went to the store with 13 mini and just forgot that he is in his pocket (try to forget about 13 pro max!). And panicked. In general, I recommend, especially if you are not scared by life on a leash to Powerbank.

12. Apple this year was generous - the basic models of 13 and 13 mini at the same cost received a memory of 128 gigabytes

This is twice as much as before. And for the first time in the history of iPhones, a device with a volume to Terat was added to the pro-line.
