The Dzerzhinsky District Court of St. Petersburg rejected the petition of Mikhail Glushchenko (member of the "Tambov" criminal community (OPS), nicknamed Misha Khokhol) about conditionally aircraft release. As follows from the video recording of the trial, the most time was spent on a discussion of the guarantee, which was signed by the deputies of the St. Petersburg Zaks: the Hero of Russia Lyubov Egorov and Yuri Avdeev.

Both deputies are in the United Russia faction, both are related to sports. Egorova is a six-time Olympic champion, Avdeev is a former chairman of the Committee on Physical Culture and Sports of the St. Petersburg Administration, Honored Trainer of Russia, Vice-President of the All-Russian Sambo Federation. And they vouched (although both now deny this) not for the criminal authority Misha Khokhl, but for the masters of sports of the international class and Honored Coach of Russia Mikhail Glushchenko.

Political murder

The former State Duma deputy from the LDPR (1996–2000) Mikhail Glushchenko was detained in St. Petersburg in 2009, when he arrived from Spain, where he had lived quietly since 2002 to replace the Russian passport. He was “presented” by the organization of a triple murder in Cyprus of 5 years ago, when Vyacheslav Shevchenko, his business partner and secretary, associated with the “Tambov” died. But in the end, he could only be charged with the extortion of the “unidentified amount” by Shevchenko, and in March he was sentenced to 8 years in the colony.

At the end of 2014, Glushchenko could count on a parole to freedom. But quite unexpectedly in April 2014, he makes a sensational statement: it was he who organized the murder of Galina Starovoitova

“I don’t know what Glushchenko could promise for these testimonies, but I can guess,” lawyer Sergei Afanasyev commented on “New”, who defends Barsukova. - The statute of limitations for the murder of Starovoyova came out, which means that the court could no longer be sentenced to the highest extent (life imprisonment). Maximum by 20 years. Given the agreement with the investigation and the special procedure for the consideration of the case, they could be awarded even below the lower limit. According to the 277th (Article 277 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation-“an encroachment on the life of a statesman.”- M. L. ) is 12 years.

The case was considered in the October Court of St. Petersburg on August 21, 2015. The day before, one of the cellmates Glushchenko in a pre -trial detention center heard him boasted: they say, a couple of days later I will sit on the villa on the Cote d'Azur, drink French wine and there is French cheese.

The court took place in a special order, the meeting lasted only four hours. For the organization of the murder of Starovoyova, the state prosecutor asked Glushchenko to be sentenced to 11 years in prison, and according to the aggregate of sentences (given the deadline for extortion) - by 13 years. Glushchenko changed in the face. The meeting had to be interrupted to call an ambulance to the convicted ambulance.

The hearings continued on August 28. And something, apparently, happened this week. The accusation dramatically changed the position - and the azure coast moved away from Glushchenko for another four years: the prosecutor requested 13 years for Starovoitov and 17 years in aggregate. The court did not reduce the term for a month.

"Contradicts the position of the party ..."

Mikhail Glushchenko sent a petition for UDO to the court mid -August 2021. The meeting was postponed several times and took place only on September 22. A few days before the court, the media appeared that members of the United Russia party were assigned to criminal authority. According to the Internet publication, Fontanka, the initiator of writing a guarantee was the chief supervisor of the University of Leshaft Vladimir Timazov. He and Glushchenko were connected by close relations in the corpus lure. Taimazov, by the way, did not refuse his signature.

On September 18, the chairman of the Committee on Information Policy, Information Technologies and the Communications of the State Duma, Alexander Hinshtein, erupted with an angry post in his telegram channel: “Ex-deputy of the State Duma from the LDPR M. Gluschenko (aka criminal authority nicknamed“ Khokhol ”)-officially convicted of organizing 4 (!) Murders. There is no question of any conventional release! If the written is not a fake, I strongly recommend that Yu.Avdeev and L. Yegorova withdraw guarantees. Yes, everyone can have the right to their point of view, but in this matter-this position directly contradicts the position of “United Russia” and the state as a whole ... ... “ER” will also direct official appeals to the Prosecutor General and Director of the FSIN about the inadmissibility of the early liberation of Glushchenko: it is important that representatives of the departments take an implacable-feeble position in the court ”.

Why Hinshtein wrote that Glushchenko was convicted of four murders is not very clear. Now he is convicted only for one murder. It is possible that the deputy has the gift of clairvoyance, because the accusation of Glushchenko has already been brought in three more murders and should go to court in the near future.

The next day, the press service of the St. Petersburg Zaks distributed statements by Avdeev and Egorova.

“This is an impudent provocation! I did not put my signature under this petition! " - Avdeev was indignant.

“I don’t know where my signature came from. I did not sign anything. This is a lie! " - said Egorova.

Moreover, already in court it turned out that the Hero of Russia filed an application with the prosecutor’s office, claiming that her signature was fake. To which one of the lawyers Glushchenko stated that he had an audio recording of a conversation with the Olympic champion, during which she actually admits that she signed the guarantee.

Be that as it may, the court did not accept the guarantee, but in the petition refused Udo. But against the backdrop of a “showdown” with deputy signatures, Glushchenko, another loud statement of Glushchenko, was somehow imperceptibly.

The fact is that earlier he refused to admit the extortion of money from the Shevchenko brothers (were considered members of the Tambov OPS). Because of this, the investigation had difficulties with Glushchenko’s charges of murders in Cyprus in 2004: the facts did not confirm that he had a motive for killing his long-time partner and a State Duma colleague. Now the motive has appeared. Glushchenko, under the protocol, said that he really extorted money from Vyacheslav Shevchenko.

The investigation believes that the murder of Shevchenko Sr., Yuri Zorin and Victoria Tretyakova, committed on March 23, 2004, organized Glushchenko. Who had his own interests in the nord Holding Brothers Shevchenko (united several restaurants, the Hollywood Nights night club and a furniture factory).

After the arrest of Glushchenko in 2009, many investigative actions were carried out in Cyprus by the local police, transferred to Russia through the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation, so the investigation was very delayed.

The Petersburg prosecutor’s office decided to divide one thing into two. The case of extortion was received by court, and in 2012 a sentence was sentenced to it. The charge of organizing triple murders was charged only in 2019. But due to procedural errors returned to the investigation. Currently, as it became known to the "New", representatives of the victims are finishing getting acquainted with the case materials, and we can expect his soon admission to the court.

Not admitting to extortion, Glushchenko questioned the motive of the murder that law enforcement agencies presented him. And suddenly on September 22, Glushchenko states: “I admit the guilt of extorting money and repent ...”.

"This is a short story!" - exclaimed the lawyer Sergei Shevchenko (brother of the murdered) Oleg Lebedev. And his surprise can be understood: the accused himself gave him and the accusation a trump card of proof of a triple murder.
