“This is the only region in which we will not congratulate the representative of the Legislative Assembly, since a person - and this is a clear conflict of interests - has elected himself. And we do not need to draw an analogy with other regions. Yes, representatives of the authorities are elected in other regions. But this is a person who was actually engaged in his election. I hope that the General Prosecutor's Office will figure out this,” Ella Pamphilova quoted in the statement.
Separately, she turned to the governor of St. Petersburg Alexander Beglov, saying that he could celebrate the victory, but this is a "Pirrova Victory".
