The joint venture includes 100% of the authorized capital of the telecom operator Ucell, USM subsidiaries - CRPT Turon and ICS Holding Uzbekistan. The Russian side will also invest $100 million in the development of Digital Holding. In the joint venture, 51% will be owned by Digital Invest, a joint venture between MegaFon and YueSeM Telecom, and 49% by the State Assets Management Agency of Uzbekistan.
Digital Holding will be headed by Vladimir Kravchenko, who previously held the position of CEO of Ucell. Andrey Shishkovsky has been appointed as the new CEO of Ucell (COSCOM LLC). From 2015 to 2019, he worked as the director of the Siberian branch of MegaFon, and from 2019 to 2021 he supervised the regions of Siberia as the company's regional development director.
