The FSB published a list of data for which you can become a foreign agent

In Russia, a foreign agent can recognize a person who collects information from the defense and space industry. The Federal Security Service (FSB) has published a list of data, which, according to the agency, can be used by foreigners against the security of Russia. The order was published on the official portal of regulatory acts, Kommersant paid attention to him.

The list does not have data that would be state or secret information. In total, the list consists of 60 points. Among them, information on the assessment and forecasts of the development of the military-political and strategic situation, the material, technical and financial support of troops, deployment and their numbers, personal data of the military, as well as information on the moral and psychological climate in the army or on crimes in the army.

Many points from the list relate to the work of Roscosmos. For example, the FSB believes that Russia's security may threaten the transfer of information about the financial condition of the state corporation and financial and economic forecasts of development, information about the problems, including financial and economic, leading to the restraint of the corporation, as well as data on the technical condition of space missiles and ground infrastructure.

It is possible to recognize the foreign agent for collecting these data as a citizen of Russia and a foreigner. The project of the FSB list was published in July.

On September 29, the Ministry of Justice significantly expanded the list of "foreign agents". The register included Mediazon, publisher Peter Verzilov and chief editor of the publication Sergei Smirnov. The list included human rights projects "Zone of Law" and "OTD-Info", as well as another 20 people related to the Voice movement, which in August was included in the register of unregistered public associations-foreign agents.

• The Ministry of Justice began to introduce Russian citizens to a new register of individuals in late 2020. • According to the law, foreign agents must provide in the Ministry of Justice data on expenses and use of funds and property that they received from foreign sources. In agents, it is forbidden to occupy positions in the state and municipal service, and in any publications, including on their personal pages in social networks, it is necessary to indicate a foreign status.
• At the moment, 72 people and organizations have already included in the register of the media, the “in agents”, since the beginning of 2021, the list has increased by 55 points.
