When will YouTube turn off in Russia? And why is the Kremlin now fighting with the Communists and with liberals?

On September 28, YouTube blocked the German editorial office in Russia Today. The administration of the platform explained this by a violation of the conditions of use of the service.

After that, RT editor Margarita Simonyan called for banning Deutsche Welle and other German media in Russia, as well as apply sanctions to the video hosting itself. Itwas echoed by the Russian Foreign Ministry, and Roskomnadzor threatened YouTube by blocking or large fines if the restrictions are not removed.

In addition, this week was arrested for 10 days of a political scientist, teacher Shanka Boris Kagarlitsky for a post in social networks on the protest promotion of the Communist Party on September 25. For participation in the action, the police held 30 people accountable. Also among the significant political events of the week: the former deputy minister of education, Sberbank Vice President Marina Rakov was accused of embezzlement of 50 million rubles and put on the federal wanted list; Another 22 people personally, as well as the OVD-Info and Mediazon, were recognized as “foreign agents”.
