Less than two weeks after his May resignation, searches were held at several addresses related to Gumenyuk. Although the investigation officially did not comment on what was happening, the sources did not hide: the matter concerns the fraud in city cemeteries (although there were no reasons - for example, disgusting, moreover, the protracted repair of one of the main transport highways of Vladivostok, the Nekrasovsky overpass).

He, according to the investigation, “from March 2020 to January 2021 received more than 4 million rubles from two citizens for the illegal issuance of permits for the installation of formwork on the territory of the Morskoye cemetery, as well as for the burial of the URN with the ashes of the dead in these formwork”.
