Muscovite, protesting with a crossbow on a tree against renovation, extended house arrest

The Grandmother's District Court decided to extend the arrest of Muscovite Olga Kuzmina, who, taking the crossbow, climbed into a tree as part of a protest against renovation. This was reported by a lawyer from the OTD-info Katerina Tertukhina, who protects the activist.

The woman was extended until November 9th. Kuzmina is charged with an article about hooliganism (part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code).

The case against the activist was opened because of the action on August 9-on that day she climbed onto a tree and thus demanded to stop the construction at 15 amber street, the woman had a crossbow with her, which she wanted to defend herself if she wanted to forcibly remove from the tree.

The investigation believes that Kuzmina acted not alone and "entered into a criminal conspiracy with unidentified persons." Rescuers who arrived at the venue of the action were recognized as the victims of the Kuzmina case and asked her to go down.

The accusation noted that the Muscovite crossbow is not a cold weapon and can be used for sports and relaxation. Earlier, lawyer Tatyana Solomina also emphasized that the crossbow was recognized as unsuitable for shooting due to malfunction of the mechanism.

After the action, Kuzmin was arrested for six days under an article on disobedience to the police (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). Then the security forces spent a search from her at home, took all the equipment and electronic media. On August 15, at the exit from the special receiver, the woman was detained and sent to the IVS.

On November 12, the Moscow City Court on November 11 upheld the decision of the Grandmother's District Court to extend the preventive measure to Olga Kuzmina. This was announced by a lawyer from the OVD-info Katerina Tertukhina.
