Valery Evsin, a defendant in the “palace case,” was transported from pre-trial detention center No. 3 in the Perm Territory to an unknown direction. The political prisoner's lawyers and wife do not know his whereabouts. This was reported in the “Prisoners 212” telegram channel.
In early April, Evsin was sentenced to two years in a general regime colony under the article on the use of violence against a government official (Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code). According to investigators, at a protest on January 23, the defendant pushed a metal barrier towards a National Guard member. Evsin’s lawyer Maxim Pashkov said that the security officer did not receive injuries or damage.
At the end of April, Evsin was transported from Moscow even before the consideration of the appeal - in May he was found in pre-trial detention center No. 3 in the Perm Territory.
