According to Novye, a former investigator of the IC of the Russian Federation for St. Petersburg, Nikolai Vorobyov, was arrested in November 2018 on charges of theft of 11 kilograms of cocaine from the storage of the material evidence of the Federal Penitentiary Service (Drug Control Office). According to investigators, this happened in February 2016 (soon the department was abolished) when the accused of smuggling of cocaine studied the materials of the criminal case and had the right to get acquainted with material evidence. For this, Vorobyov received a box with drugs and kept it in his safe for almost a week. It was then, according to investigators, he replaced one hundred percent cocaine with a medication mixture containing 0.5% cocaine.
As for whether Vorobyov could have done the theft of a drug alone, there was a lot of doubt. The data of two examinations contradicted to each other. And where the stolen cocaine went, the investigation was in no hurry to find out. The investigator was arrested only according to the testimony of the former employee of the Federal Penitentiary Service of St. Petersburg and the region of Vladislav Andrievsky. He was already in places of imprisonment at this time and learned about the disappearance of the Uruguayan powder from the cellmate, as if that powder and traded.
The case against Andriyevsky was led precisely by investigator Vorobyov, and it could be assumed that this is a reservation to take revenge. Later it turned out that someone really replaced cocaine in 2017 with a mixture, but until November 2018 it was hidden.
It all started with the fact that in June 2014, Stanislav Brekhov, who arrived from Uruguay, was detained at the Pulkovo customs. In his baggage, several pairs of brand new jeans were found, to the inside of which bags with white matter were sewn. Express analysis showed that in cocaine bags. The total weight of the seized pulled 11 kg. At prices in the black market - nearly $ 2 million.
At first, Brekhov said that he brought drugs by order of a former employee of the FSKN of St. Petersburg and the region of Alexander Bolshakov, a two -time European kickboxing champion, a contender for the world title and a lover of expensive sports cars. But in court, the drug -courier abandoned his previous testimony, supposedly he gave them under pressure, and called the true customer of the transportation of cocaine - a certain Stanislav Satarinov.

“From the moment of my first transfer to the extension of the guards in August 2014,” Brekhov said (quote based on the materials of the court.-Ed.), “On the part of operational employees of the 1st UFSKN department in St. Petersburg, I was subjected to psychological pressure in the form of threats ... And most importantly, they misled me that the rest of the criminal case participants (Bolshakov, Gilani and Anufriyes) They slander me and give me evidence of an indictment. In this direction, rather long work was carried out on their part, which included my phased processing-repeated unofficial export of me from the insulator, as well as the parishes of UFSN operatives to me in a pre-trial detention center ... At the next unofficial export of me from the pre-trial detention center in the fall of 2014, I was delivered to the 2nd Soviet st. In the office of the head of the 1st service of the 4th department of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Federal Penitentiary Service in the St. Petersburg SPb and Lo Kazachuk A. A., where everything was repeated on his part ... In the spring of 2015, the investigator in the case was replaced-they became Vorobyov N.V. Work was carried out in the same direction-all protocols were written for me, but they were given only to signature. It was said about the role of Satarinov Satarinov. In no case do not change the readings ... "
The court recorded this statement (is at the disposal of the editorial office), but this did not affect the course of the case. In April 2018, the jury found Brekhov accomplices guilty of drug smuggling, the court sentenced them to a conclusion for a period of 17 to 22 years. In October of the same year, the Supreme Court upheld the sentence. And after a couple of weeks, the combined press service of the vessels of St. Petersburg announced the arrest of the former investigator (at that time he had not worked in the UK) Vorobyov. He was accused of embezzlement of cocaine, for whose smuggling four were already convicted.
On October 4, 2021, the city court of St. Petersburg recognized Nikolai Vorobyov as innocent in the embezzlement of drugs. By this time, he served in jail for three years. The court sentenced him to three and a half years in the colony for fraud and released him - "by the settled".
The SK explained the essence of fraud as follows: “In order to steal the budget funds belonging to the Investigative Committee, he submitted to the State Technical University of the IC of the Russian Federation in St. Petersburg deliberately forgeable contracts for the rental of a dwelling, as well as the relevant statements containing obviously false information about the allegedly had the right to receive monetary compensation for the hire of residential premises. Thus, in the period from December 2012 to August 2016, he received and stolen funds in the total amount of 645 thousand rubles. ”

The head of the UK, Alexander Bastrykin, expressing dissatisfaction with the court decision, requested Vorobyov’s case to Moscow. In addition, by his order, an official check of the unit, where the investigation was conducted, will be carried out.
The very thing about the theft of cocaine was classified, so we cannot tell about the progress of the investigation and the court. Since the arrest, Vorobyov denied his guilt. Now his innocence was confirmed by the court, although he recognized the fraudster. But if 11 kilos of powder did not abduct Vorobyov, then who?
And why did four smugglers condemned if by the time the verdict was announced the main thing - cocaine - disappeared?
The drug courier Brekhov, we repeat, in court claimed that he had stipulated the rest of the accomplices and named the new name - Stanislav Satarinov. It was Brekhov who was asked to “forget”, according to him, that employees of drug control and the FSB.
Despite the fact that the lawyers of the defendants demanded that the court submit drugs and conduct a forensic examination, the judge Vadim Shidlovsky rejected the request. The father of one of the defendants Ruslan Gilani, in an interview with a new correspondent, said: “In my opinion, employees of the FSB and FSKN affected the court’s decision. After all, if it were discovered that there was no main thing, then the jury should have taken out an acquittal. And law enforcement agencies would have to look for the one who organized smuggling of cocaine from Uruguay. ”
Stanislav Satarinov became famous in 2010, when he was arrested in Germany at the request of the Drug Control Department (DEA) under the US Department of Justice. As reported by The Tampa Tribune (Florida), in December 2009, Satarinov contacted his fellow countryman living in Tamp (his data was not disclosed), and suggested finding a major cocaine supplier. Satarinov was ready to organize a monthly traffic of 50 kg of a drug from America to Russia with an advance payment of goods. The former Russian immediately went to the local DEA branch, and special negotiations with Satarin were conducted by a special agent Gary Corbet.
Corbet traded on the phone with Satarin for almost three months and recorded all the negotiations. In March 2010, the interlocutors finally agreed. Satarinov decided to buy 1 kg of cocaine for 25 thousand dollars plus overhead costs - 2 thousand. If the quality of the buyer’s goods arranges, then he promised to buy 50 kg every month.
Satarinov transferred 10 thousand dollars to the account indicated by Corbitum in March 2010. The special quantity demanded the rest of the amount in cash. However, Satarinov could not come to the United States: he was not given a visa. Then he suggested Corbita to meet in Europe, and even better - in St. Petersburg, where Satarinov’s security, according to him, was provided by law enforcement officers. However, such a trip was not included in Corbit's plans.

In May 2010, a courier possessing an American visa was found. He brought to Tampa 22 thousand dollars. “Extra” 5 thousand were supposed to go to the purchase of a jet ski and auto prior. In them, the courier planned to hide cocaine for further transportation. During the transfer of money, Corbita was detained, and an international arrest warrant was issued to Satarinov. In November 2010, he was arrested in Germany, extradited in the United States in 2012.
On March 27, 2013, the press service of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation stated: “... Despite the absence of a bilateral agreement on the issuance between the Russian Federation and the United States of America, thanks to the coordinated work of the General Prosecutor's Office of the Russian Federation and the NCB Interpol of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia, the competent authorities of the United States in February 2013 decided to deport Satarinov to the Russian Federation. Today, accompanied by employees of the US immigration-affected service, Stanislav Satarinov was deported to Russia. ”
The press service, in addition, said that a criminal case was opened against Satarin under several articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation on smuggling and illegal sale of drugs by a group of persons by prior conspiracy. The deadline could be obtained up to life.
The press service of the Prosecutor General’s Office forgot to report that on the day of Satarinov’s arrival in Russia, March 27, 2013, a resolution was issued to change the preventive measure from arrest to a recognizance not to leave.
So the accused entered the Russian land by an almost free person.
And a few months later, a criminal case against him was removed from the Investigative Department of the Federal Drug Control Service of the Russian Federation (it was there that the case was brought by, according to which the Americans issued Satarinov). It is not known who exactly the case was seized, but no one heard more about him. And after the disbandment of the FSKN in 2016, it became impossible to find ends.
In an interview with the correspondent of “New”, a former employee of the FSB in St. Petersburg and the region who wished to maintain anonymity (the name is in the editorial office), claimed that until some time they were not allowed to take Stanislav Satarinov, despite the fact that the FSB had operational information about his participation in the supply of drugs to St. Petersburg.
“The father of Stas Satarinov, although listed as a modest director of the department at one of the St. Petersburg factories, is entered into the highest rooms,” the source says.
If you believe the statement in the court of the drug courier Brekhov, the theft of cocaine could organize, among other things, the US Egor Sementsov economic security officer (was dismissed in 2017, according to the Fontanka website, with the formulation of “Loss of Conference”) and the former head of the Federal Penitentiary Service of the Federal Penitentiary Service for St. Petersburg.

By the way, it is Sementsov that appears in the testimony of the former UFSKN employee Vladislav Andrievsky, who, in a statement addressed to the head of the FSB, written in 2017, said that Uruguayan Cocaine, seized in Pulkovo, went on sale in St. Petersburg. It was after Andrievsky’s statement that a repeated examination of the powder was carried out, which revealed the substitution of cocaine with a medication mixture. The "new" spoke about this in detail in the article "The Tuck of the Snake" in June 2019.
As already mentioned, information about cocaine substitution was classified. But from Sementsov the St. Petersburg department of the FSB still decided to get rid of.
Whether Sementsov really patronized the drug trafficking or conducted operational development of drug dealers, most likely we will never know. Sementsov, although the former, the FSB officer, and his possible participation in the drug dealer throws a shadow to the entire office. And it was after the dismissal of Sementsov from the FSB Stanislav Satarinov was still arrested. He was charged with organizing the production of amphetamine in artisanal conditions and its subsequent distribution.
In July 2021, the Leningrad Regional Court sentenced Satarin to 19 years in prison.
None of his patrons could interfere with this.
But the question of who stole cocaine by almost two million dollars from the strictly protected camera of material evidence remains unanswered. Vorobyov was recognized as non -investigated by the court, which means that the case of embezzlement should resume. In the meantime, relatives of convicts for smuggling of cocaine in 2018 achieve the cancellation of the jury on the grounds that the main evidence - 11 kg of the drug - has not been represented in court.
