But this is not canceled by the fact that now they put a “green mark” on the Navalny card, it is very difficult to get parole or softening a regime with such a stigma.

In the instagram profile, Navalny appeared a message on his face that he was called to a special commission, which first voted to withdraw him from the profile as “prone to escape”, and then unanimously voted for registering the opposition as an “extremist and terrorist”. Navalny called the commission’s decision “good news”, since “extremist” and “terrorist” professional accounts are not as tiring as the “mascot” ”.

“I was afraid that they would demand that I kiss Putin’s portraits and teach Medvedev’s quote by heart, but this was not necessary,” Alexey joked.

He noted that the majority of those who were put on vocational school as extremists in the colony are Muslims. Also, according to the politician, there are football fans and nationalists among them.

Initially, politics was registered as a prone to escape in the Moscow pre -trial detention center, after transferring to the colony, where the sentence in the Rocher case is now serving. Navalny complained that the colony staff several times a night woke him up and shot him on camera. The opposition noted that because of this he wakes up, and the colony officers violate his right to a continuous eight-hour sleep.

In the summer, the Moscow City Court recognized the FBK and the headquarters of Navalny with “extremist organizations” and banned their activities in Russia. In September, Alexei Navalny, Leonid Volkov, Ivan Zhdanov and “other persons” opened a criminal case on the creation of an extremist community and the leadership of them. Almost all the accused are abroad. Probably, because of this case, Navalny was changed-"prone to extremism." So far, the charges have not been officially charged.

Navalny’s lawyer Olga Mikhailova confirmed RBC that they removed one status from the opposition, but assigned a new one. She recalled that lawyers had previously tried to cancel the opposition to the court, but the courts rejected their complaint.

What can you get a "strip" for?

On prison jargon, the production of preventive accounting is called “strip”. There are quite a few types of profiles in places of imprisonment. The registration procedure is regulated by order of the Ministry of Justice of the Russian Federation of May 20, 2013. In paragraph No. 24 of this order, prisoners are listed, who may be registered. In order to register the prisoner, the operational employee of the pre -trial detention center or colony must draw up a report in which he must describe the behavior of the prisoner and the violation that he committed, or indicate the grounds for obtaining a “strip”.

According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, the main goal of registration is “the prevention of offenses by persons contained in the institutions of the penal system through preventive measures”. However, the former member of the Moscow PMS, Marina Litvinovich, believes that in the current conditions they are registered only “in order to provide pressure”. “The system of all these marks and strips does not perform any preventive functions, except to complicate the life of prisoners and suspects. Basically, I saw that the production of vocational school becomes another way of informal punishment. Most often, these stripes are placed undeservedly or formally. To get the status of “inclined to escape”, enough innocent joke, as happened with Navalny, after which this joke turns into a report, and then the commission makes a decision. No one understands that it was a harmless joke, ”said Litvinovich.

Strips of all colors

The so -called bars of accounting are different colors. For example, a strip for a tendency to escape, what was the bulk of Navalny. For a tendency to suicide, the prisoner can get a blue strip. Former political prisoner Ivan Astashin, who conducted almost 10 years in prison on charges of attacking the metropolitan department of the FSB in the ABTO case (the organization was recognized as terrorist and prohibited in Russia), was serving a sentence in the colonies of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. He ended up in a vocational school in the pre -trial detention center as “prone to escape”, and in the colony he was still “put on the stripes” for “extremism and suicide”.

“Any vocational school complicates the life of the prisoner. This is additional control and additional restrictions. In the Norilsk camp, all convicts, consisting of any accounting, were contained in the so-called regime sections-premises locked at night on the lattice and having additional video surveillance. In addition, in different institutions, vocational school may become an occasion so as not to allow the prisoner to participate in some cultural and sporting events, ”says Astashin.

He explains that

He is supported by Litvinovich, clarifying that prisoners who are registered for extremism are not raised at night with inspections, they wake up only prone to escape. But it is almost impossible to completely get rid of these marks, she complains: “The complete removal of the“ strip ”is a rare case, since the mechanism has not been developed. To do this, you need to collect a large commission, prepare papers. But none of the colony administration will do this. This needs the most prisoner, but no one else. ”
