How Irina Yarovaya and other candidates from United Russia won the elections in the Kamchatka Territory

Russian politicians continue to discuss the September elections. For some, they formed successfully, for someone not very. The Secretary of the General Council of United Russia Andrei Turchak believes that the United Russia conducted the election campaign brilliantly. It is difficult to disagree with him. The party, which does not have wide support in society, again managed to get the constitutional majority in the country's parliament. She achieved impressive successes in the regions.

In Kamchatka, for example, in some areas where they voted with special zeal behind the United Russia, the electorate was mobilized to such an extent that the turnout, in fact, reached 250%. At the same time, an unprecedented number of complaints were received in the election. However, I will not go into the jungle, but I will dwell on several episodes, when the United Russia showed themselves most clearly. The famous deputy Yarovaya also distinguished themselves. But we are talking about her below. And first, several paragraphs about anomalies in Vilyuchinsk - a military town where the base of the atomic submarines of the Pacific Fleet is located.

This season, Minister of Defense Sergey Shoigu was an active participant in the Duma campaign. He was entrusted with a place in the first five of the "EP" list.

In theory, submariners and their families had to support their minister - because he, as they say on TV, made so much good for them. However, in Vilyuchinsk, the works of Shoigu were not appreciated. United Russia lost the parliamentary elections there, gaining about 30% of the vote - less than the Communist Party.

In Kamchatka, meanwhile, deputies were elected not only federal, but also in regional, as well as to local authorities. Moreover, it was the unicorn from Vilyuchinsk to the regional Legislative Assembly. How did this happen? The fact is that the elections in the Kamchatka Territory have a feature. Thousands of people here vote in unusual conditions - in the so -called ship plots. This applies to fishermen in fishing, and, accordingly, military sailors who serve away from the house. The party of power has learned to use this nuance to earn additional points. In our case, the candidate from United Russia Vitaly Lanin lost to the communist Roman Litvinov on the shore. But in the ship's sites, he, as they say, recouped - he won with a huge advantage. And this allowed him to get the mandate of the deputy of the Legislative Assembly.

In general, they are already used to such oddities in Kamchatka. United Russia could not pay attention to the dubious victory, if not for two circumstances. Firstly, the turnout in the areas organized on submarines turned out to be prohibitive, and secondly, even submarines that were in the repair seemed to be on combat duty.

If you calculate the voters under water, it turns out that the submarines were simply crowded with sailors, like buses by passengers at rush hour. Situations when the number of submariners on the nuclear power plant exceeded the standard number of crews, in general, happened earlier. Although not often. For example, I can recall the story from 1983. Then, on a campaign on the K-429 submarine, in a hurry, for the sake of fulfilling the plan, 120 military were sent, instead of the state 87. It ended very badly-the boat sank.

By the way, today to report the number of sailors on underwater cruisers in the media is a risky business. You can go to the list of foreign agents. But I will still use the data of Wikipedia, where it is written that the crew of the Kuzbass Premier League is 73 people. However, according to the information of the Kamchatka election commission, 178 sailors voted in the Kuzbass. The crew of Tomsk - 107 people, and the voted was 242. 107 sailors and officers also serve on the fourth generation of Alexander Nevsky, and there were 254 voters (here you are at 250%). Something similar happened at Vladimir Monomakh. These hundreds of votes in the small Vilyuchinsk were enough for the victory to the candidate from United Russia.

The official version of the arguments of the Vilyuchintsev, of course, refutes. On it, submarines carried combat duty, which, apparently, was so heavy that the crews required reinforcement. I admit to me, the scheme that United Russia uses in the underwater fleet is unknown to me to achieve a brilliant result. But in this scheme, as I think, the military prosecutor’s office should be sorted out for a long time. But they still have things to make things more important.

The next bright episode occurred in the city of Elizovo. There, the scandal was accompanied by elections to the local deputy meeting. In social networks in Kamchatka, videos are still posting about how the townspeople offered to sell their votes - a thousand rubles apiece. “There billions are spinning. The more votes, the more grandmothers, ”the woman agitator enlightened others. In polling stations in Elizov, people of marginal appearance were detained. They held in their hands a list of five surnames, opposite which it was necessary to put boxes in ballots. The marginals said that they were handed the list people who arrived in the jeep. Violations were probably so obvious that they publicly announced a bribery even in the territorial election commission. The police started checking. It still continues, but four people from the list safely received their mandates. And one of them, Unicorn Artem Gagloshvili, through social networks, already thanked Elizovites for trust.

With the words of gratitude to the inhabitants of Kamchatka, Irina Yarovaya also addressed. She will sit in the Russian parliament for the fourth term, although she won in a single-mandate district for the first time, and before that she either passed on the list, or received mandates from the governors-vanity. The deputy chairman of the State Duma and one of the symbols of United Russia gained 40% of the vote in Kamchatka. Given the administrative resource that was used to election, the money invested in PR, the active support of local and Moscow celebrities, the result of Yarovo can not be called impressive. But he would be even more modest if it were not for the notorious ship plots. And throughout Kamchatka, these are not a few submarines, as in Vilyuchinsk, but more than 100 ships and fishing vessels.

Fishermen who are in the field, as a rule, vote for United Russia as amicably as submariners on duty. The secret is that many Kamchatka fish industry, in order to cover the business, have long merged with the party in power and help it than they can. Including votes in the elections. If on the shore, in the largest settlements of the region, the support of Yarovaya balanced within 32–39%, then at sea it turned out to be about double.
