In Essentuki, the police detained a single picketman Ivan Zevakin, who stood with the poster “Navalny is not an extremist! #Freedom. " The protester himself informed the OVD-info.
The detainee was delivered to the OMVD in the city of Essentuki. The picket worker said that he stood with a poster at the monument to the heroes of the Great Patriotic War, but the police indicated in the materials of the administrative case that the action allegedly took place at the building of the local court. According to federal legislation, court buildings are classified as places near which public events are prohibited.
Zevakin specified that when delivered to the department, the security forces abruptly pulled him out of their car, because of which the picketer left abrasion on his head.
As a result, the detainee was released from the Ministry of Internal Affairs with a protocol under an article on violation of the rules of participation in the action (part 5 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
On October 13, Ivan Zevakin is in the hospital with a concussion. He himself informed the OVD-Info about this. After the detention, the activist at home became ill, he called an ambulance. Later, police officers came to the hospital to take an explanation.
