In St. Petersburg, the administration of the school at the Rimsky-Korsakov Conservatory forced the resignation of biology teacher Olga Shchegoleva, who kept a blog on sex education on Instagram. It is reported by "Fontanka".

The teacher clarified that she marked her blog with “18” and set the appropriate age filters among subscribers. “I have done everything legally that is required of me to protect children from traumatic information. Everything that the Instagram platform offers me, ”said Shchegoleva.

According to the teacher, the parents of her students complained to the school management, Shchegoleva was given a choice: either a job or a blog. “I’m not very pleased that because of me there was such a scandal at school. I didn't want it. I am an ordinary normal person and do what I think is necessary. I work only with adults, adult sexual education allows you to raise healthy children. This helps prevent violence, ”said Shchegoleva.

Fontanka adds that until the dismissal, the school administration had no complaints against the teacher.
