The Grandmother's District Court of Moscow satisfied the application of the investigation and decided to forcefully hospitalize Olga Kuzmin, who protested against renovation for up to 30 days. This was reported by a lawyer from the OVD-info Katerina Tertukhina.
Kuzmin will be sent to the psychiatric hospital of the National Medical Research Center (NMIC) of psychiatry and narcology named after V.P. Serbsky for a forensic psychiatric examination. At the trial, the investigator stated that it was impossible to conduct an examination on an outpatient basis, and insisted on the forced hospitalization of Kuzmina.
“Any decision of the investigator or court must be justified. The petition of the investigator did not contain a single argument or reason for conducting a stationary psychiatric examination. We did not hear the substantiation of the impossibility of conducting an examination without placing in a hospital, including from the court. Moreover, Olga suffers from a number of chronic diseases for which the daily routine and special, dietary nutrition are very important. With this decision, the Grandmother's court jeopardizes the life and health of my principal, ”the lawyer Tertukhina commented on the decision on hospitalization.
On October 5, the court extended the house arrest Kuzmina. She is accused under an article on hooliganism (part 2 of article 213 of the Criminal Code).
Fixed the name of the institution where Kuzmin will be sent.
