The Aksai District Court of the Rostov Region received materials from an administrative case against local market entrepreneurs Akhmad Khashmathalil and Anzhelika Shchekina. They were charged with an article on violation of the rules for organizing a public event (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). “This was not a rally. There was nothing like that. We took a photo in the middle of an empty market. And the protocols were drawn up for two people as organizers of the rally,” an anonymous interlocutor of Kavkaz.Realii commented on the case.

On September 28, Shchekina published in the group an announcement of a meeting about electricity. “I always notify our entrepreneurs about the meeting. But the police considered that the discussion of working moments was an inconsistent public event. The case file contains a screenshot of my announcement, in which there was no talk of a rally or a picket,” the woman explained.
Hashmathalil said that the entrepreneurs had gathered in the closed area of the market next to their shops.
“We just took pictures and recorded a short video as a keepsake. The next day, at the entrance to the territory of the Atlant shopping complex, the police stopped me, gave me a summons to the department, where they familiarized me with the materials of the administrative case, ”he specified.
