In Russia, the first administrative affairs on people recognized by the media are “foreign agents”

Stepan Petrov, the head of the public organization “Yakutia - our opinion”, entered one of the first administrative cases in Russia to fail to fulfill the duties of a person recognized as a “foreign agent”. About this in his telegram channel reports "Apology of Protest."

Petrov was called to the regional department of Roskomnadzor, located in Yakutsk. They are going to draw up a protocol on it on non -fulfillment by a person included in the register of media that perform the functions of a “foreign agent” established by law of requirements (Article 19.34.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).

What kind of offense are we talking about is not yet clear.

The human rights activist is charged with the publication of messages in social networks without labeling “Inoage”: 25 posts on Facebook, 13 on Twitter and 2 on Instagram.

15:50 As Ponomarev explained in a conversation with Sota, Roskomnadzor also pointed out his reposts of other people's publications, as well as “updating the photo profile on Facebook”.

The department indicated that all such posts should begin with a marking intended for the “foreign agents”.

The fine under article 19.34.1 of the Code of Administrative Offenses for citizens is 10 thousand rubles, for officials - 50 thousand rubles, for legal entities - 500 thousand rubles.
• Lev Ponomarev was one of the first five people entered in the register of the media-agents in December 2020.
