
The Blue Origin suborbital ship made the second manned flight. The 90-year-old actor William Sertner flew to a height of 107 km, who played Captain Kirk in Startrek. The flight was broadcast on the Blue Origin channel on YouTube.
Shetner became the oldest person in space. The flight of the actor and three other crew members lasts 11 minutes, of which only 3-4 minutes-in zero gravity.


The launch of the New Year's missile, the NS-18 mission was carried out at 10:50 up the east coast of the United States (17:50 Moscow time) from the Corn Ranch launching site near the city of Van-Korn in the west of Texas. The former engineer in NASA, the founder of Space Labs, Chris Boshuisen, founder of Medidata Solutions Glen de Vris and Blue Origin Audrey Powers, went on a trip with Schetner.

This is the second commercial launch of the Jeff Bezos missile. The first was performed on July 20, 2021. The Bezos himself, his brother Mark, the 82-year-old former pilot Wally Fank, as well as the 18-year-old graduate of the School of the Netherlands Oliver Damen, went on a space trip. The flight lasted about 10 minutes, the ship reached a height of 100 km - the lower boundary of the space. The capsule landed with parachutes. The rocket also landed safely at the cosmodrome. In zero gravity, the travel participants managed to stay a few minutes.
