In Moscow, Mikhail Timonin was detained on Red Square, who was holding a one-man picket with a poster "Russia without Putin and his friends." The activist himself told OVD-Info about this.

Timonin was taken to the Kitai-Gorod police department. There, the police confiscated his belongings, and then had a conversation. They did not explain what kind of offense the picketer was charged with, but decided to leave him overnight in the department.

Shortly after the call to OVD-Info, Timonin reported that the phone was also being confiscated. It was no longer possible to contact him.
