• Civil activist from Saratov Sergei Ryzhov was sentenced to six years in a maximum security colony in the Artpodgotovka case. He was found guilty on charges of a terrorist act and possession of explosives. Ryzhov has been held in custody since 2017.
• The ECHR ordered Russia to pay 26 thousand euros in compensation to the moderator of the opposition telegram chat Salman Tepsurkaev. The young man was kidnapped and tortured by Chechen security forces in 2020.
• The court ordered a psychological and psychiatric examination of human rights activist Sergei Mokhnatkin, who died in 2020. The examination will be carried out as part of the case under articles of contempt of court and assault on a FSIN employee.
