Social activist Ilgam Yanberdin (Ilgam Vakhtovik), who went missing on the night of October 10, was found alive. This was reported by the publication “Idel.Realii” with reference to the press service of the Investigative Committee for Bashkortostan.
However, the Investigative Committee does not specify where Yanberdin was found. “The police called me in the evening and said that Ilgam had been found, that he would soon be brought to Ufa and that I would be invited [to the police department],” the activist’s wife, Rasima Manaeva, told the publication.
As Idel.Realii writes, according to some local media, Yanberdin was discovered in the Karmaskalinsky district of the republic.
Ilgam Yanberdin is known in Bashkortostan as an active participant in protests. Among them are rallies in defense of the Kushtau Shikhan and actions by supporters of Alexei Navalny. He was prosecuted for the January 2021 protests.

A court in Omsk made a similar decision - Daniil Chebykin and Nikita Konstantinov were considered the organizers of the actions on January 23 and 31 and were ordered to pay the Ministry of Internal Affairs more than one and a half million rubles.
- In June 2021, Ilgam Yanberdin was detained at a public gathering after beating environmental activist Ildar Yumagulov; the action took place on April 25 in Baymak. Yanberdin was later released from court. The case materials were sent back to the police for verification due to violations in the preparation of the protocol.
