The Naro-Fominsk City Court fined activist Tatyana Pavlova 20,000 rubles for a meeting in defense of the Selyatinsky forest. This is reported by the "Apology of Protest".
Pavlova was found guilty of organizing and conducting an uncoordinated action (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses).
The activist was detained on October 9 in the village of Selyatino, Moscow Region. Pavlova took part in a meeting of residents against the construction of a road, because of which the Selyatinsky forest would have to be cut down.
A protocol was drawn up against the detainee under the article on violation of the rules for organizing a public event (part 2 of article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), and the hearing on the case was postponed to October 19, since the activist did not have a lawyer, whose admission she applied for.
