Lyubov Sobol is wanted

Former FBK lawyer Lyubov Sobol has been put on the wanted list. Interfax drew attention to the new card in the Ministry of Internal Affairs database.

It is not specified in the card what exactly Sobol is wanted for.

On September 30, the Moscow City Court approved the sentence for the oppositionist in the “sanitary case”: one and a half years of restriction of freedom. In August, Lyubov Sobol was found guilty of inciting violation of sanitary and epidemiological standards (Part 1 of Article 236 of the Criminal Code with the use of Part 4 of Article 33 of the Criminal Code) due to calls to participate in the protest “Freedom for Navalny!” January 23.

According to media reports, Sobol left Russia immediately after the verdict was announced by the court of first instance.

In addition, on April 15, Sobol was sentenced to a year of correctional labor with a deduction of 10 percent of her salary, suspended in the case of breaking into the apartment (Part 2 of Article 139 of the Criminal Code) of FSB officer Konstantin Kudryavtsev, whom Navalny accused of involvement in his poisoning.

• The first case of violation of sanitary standards due to protests appeared in Moscow.
