• A court in Moscow sentenced Sergei Vasilenko, a defendant in the “palace case,” to three years and three months in prison. The man is accused of setting the wheel of a National Guard car on fire during a rally in support of Alexei Navalny on January 31.
• In Crimea, the prosecution asked that the defendants in the third Bakhchisarai case of Hizb ut-Tahrir be sentenced to 13 to 20 years in prison. Seytumer and Osman Seytumerov, Rustem Seitmemetov and Amet Suleymanov are charged with participation in the activities of a terrorist organization.
• Viktor Filinkov, convicted in the St. Petersburg “Network” case, was sent to a punishment cell for the eighth time in three months.
