Police detained ex-coordinator of Navalny's Irkutsk headquarters

On the way out of Irkutsk, the police detained the former coordinator of Navalny’s local headquarters, Anton Zhukovets. He himself told OVD-Info about this.

The activist was taken to police department No. 6. According to law enforcement officers, the detention was related to a case under the article on abuse of official powers (Article 286 of the Criminal Code).

• On June 9, the Moscow City Court recognized the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), the Foundation for the Defense of Citizens' Rights (FZPG) and the headquarters of Alexei Navalny as “extremist organizations.” An appeals court later upheld this decision.
